Midsummer's Eve Festival 2024
Burren College of Art invites you to join us for the first return of our Midsummer’s Eve Festival since 2019!
Food, wine, beer, art, and music await you under the light of a Full Moon in the courtyard of Newtown Castle in celebration of the Summer Solstice and the 30th Anniversary of Burren College of Art. Music will be provided to get you dancing by Flamenway, (Latin Music from Galway); Galway Choro Ensemble (Multinational/Brazilian and Latin sounds), and opening solo singer (and BCA student), Matilda Krulder. We’ll have free craft workshops for all ages. Wine and dine on food and drink from Burren Food Trail members including: Burren Food & Wine, fresh Pouldoody Bay Oysters, the Wildfire Gourmet Food Truck and vegetarian options, desserts and non-alcoholic options from Holy Crepes, and the Coffee Carlavan.
We are also very excited to have live aerial performances by Erebidae Circus!
Please note: We are not taking any unsolicited proposals for vending or entertainment for the festival.
Special thanks to Clare County Council for their support.
