Working with Photographs - Digital Photography, Photoshop & Printing - Advanced Level

Robert Ellis
21st Aug 2017 to 25th Aug 2017

This advacend level workshop aims to improve all aspects of your digital photography image making and will be focused on advanced editing techniques. The course will guide photographers towards making beautiful photographic prints. Over the course of the 5 days participants will learn about optimising their camera for producing the best quality image and get a chance to make new work on field trips around the Burren. Participants will then get the opportunity to enhance their image with post-production using Adobe Bridge , Lightroom and Photoshop, and finally you will get to produce beautiful photographic prints. Use of the College’s large format Epson 7900 printing technology will be available to participants for printing their images with a wide range of photographic paper choices to work with, from Glossy Photo Paper to Enhanced Matt or Premium Lustre paper.
Both beginner and advanced workshops are designed to run in conjunction with each other, so participants are welcome to do both or alternatively selecting one they would feel more comfortable in.  Week two will have much more advanced image editing techniques with a view to producing fine art prints.
Places are limited to ensure everyone gets the opportunity to print.
