Irish artist, Miriam O’Connor currently lives and works in Cork. In her practice, she is interested in the subtleties of looking and seeing, the tenuous nature of photographic representation and the special ambiguity of still images. She holds a BA in photography from Dublin Institute of Technology, and a Research Masters from the Institute of Art, Design & Technology, Dun Laoghaire. Her work has been featured in a wide range of photography publications and she has exhibited in solo and group shows in Ireland and internationally. She has published two Photo books, Attention Seekers (2012) and The Legacy Project (2013).
