About the Songwriting Masterclass
‘Whether one is writing professionally or for personal pleasure and enlightenment, songs play a central role in our culture and within community.
As with any creative discipline, the conversation is endless as to what degree mastery may be “taught,” but regardless, the nuance of opinion, experiences and strategies are invariably beneficial when shared. This workshop is open to anyone who seeks a deeper immersion with the craft of songwriting, or who simply craves a more thoughtful engagement as a listener.

Joe Henry
Joseph Lee Henry (born December 2, 1960) is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, and producer. He has released 13 studio albums and produced multiple recordings for other artists, including three Grammy-Award winning albums.
Lisa Hannigan
Lisa Margaret Hannigan is an Irish singer, songwriter, and musician. She began her musical career as a member of Damien Rice’s band. Since beginning her solo career in 2007 she has released three albums: Sea Sew, Passenger, and At Swim.
Glen Hansard
Glen Hansard is an Irish songwriter, actor, vocalist and guitarist for Irish group The Frames, and one half of folk rock duo The Swell Season.
