Blazing bonfires, food, wine, art, music and dancing await you in the courtyard of Newtown Castle to celebrate St John’s Eve bonfire night. Music will be provided by Los Paddys de Las Pampas, (Irish/Argentinian fusion), Matthew Noone (North African sarode), Matthew Allen and musicians from Wheaton College and Ballyvaughan’s own Ukelele Orchestra. We’ll have free craft workshops for all ages with Rainbow Academy. Wine and dine on BBQ cooked by food critic and expert in all things grilled, Robb Walsh, together with Burren Food Trail members including: local butchers, Neil Hawes and Paul Haugh, Burren Food & Wine, fresh Pouldoody Bay Oysters, ice cream by Linnalla, and vegetarian options and desserts from the BCA Food of the Arts cafe.
